GANERDA GRUL: is the most beautiful nerd girl in the world. Her spectacles are ultra-chunky; her face is ever on the breakout; her fashion sense is from planet Mars, and she is the most beautiful nerd girl in the world. She is thirty-nine, lives in Los Angeles and works as a librarian. Being a complete social disaster, she relates more to fictional characters in books and movies than to real people--whom she finds desperately unreal. Avoiding them, she roams the stacks of the library, sorting and shelving books, all the while jotting down her thoughts and memories perhaps to make her own book one day. And she is the most beautiful nerd girl in the world. |

MINUS: is a grouchy old soul troll who lives in the mind of conflicted cartoonist HAFJAK DIVIZ. MINUS is the most bitter of pills wrapped in a rain slicker and boots. He is always whining, complaining and criticizing. Ever see anyone berate a raindrop for dripping down a window the wrong way? MINUS did that and does it every rainy day! MINUS has an endless capacity for complaining--like an old coward in a nursing home who complains to keep from remembering a lifetime of failure! What idea will MINUS condemn next? Who will soon suffer his mockery? Will the world be able to carry on despite the futility MINUS sees in its every corner? Ever grumpy, MINUS is a HATER with no limits to his animosity and bitterness! Look at MINUS, the putrid old helf! What is he eviscerating now with his jagged tongue? Isn't he so sweetly sarcastic and droll? |

PLUS: is a silly old goose who lives in the mind of conflicted cartoonist HAFJAK DIVIZ. PLUS is happy and content to the point of near mental retardation. He is always playing and creating and seeking attention for his ridiculous creations. Ever see anyone make art from the fruit cup in their lunch? PLUS did that and expected accolades for it! PLUS has a lot of ideas and a lot of energy--like a sugared up second grader watching Saturday morning cartoons! What idea will PLUS realize next? Will it smell bad? Will it be made out of cheese or broken glass? Ever inspired, PLUS is a CREATOR with no limits to his imagination or lust for attention! Look at PLUS, the silly old goose! What is he doing now for our amusement? Isn't he brilliant? |

TAPETOP TURTLE: is a turtle made of tape. What? Yes, you read correctly! He is a living bundle of tape encased in a seashell! On an island in the middle of the sea, Tapetop lives with friends as odd as he, such as a crab-cycle named Scootle and a coconut-pug named Marp! After a vicious attack, Tapetop Turtle discovers that he has an amazing ability: He can fling strips of tape from his arms! Adventure and revelation occur with each strip of tape flung from the shell of Tapetop Turtle! |

FROST: is from the comic strip "Frost & Miko." He is an ostrich, a prince of ostriches, and was next in line to be a King of Ostriches! Being a simple creature, however, Frost had no desire to inherit an unearned crown nor a puzzling kingdom. Leaving his place in the line of heirs, he waddled away from the ostrich kingdom and out into the world, each step bringing him more and more happiness! Around the land he dawdled until he met Miko. Becoming fast friends their adventures began and continue to this day! From boxing octopi to inventing hair products, Frost has retained his fascination for this world and journeys through it still gawking in wonder at its lunacy and loveliness! |

MIKO: is from the comic strip "Frost & Miko." He is a squirrel born without a tail. This many of his forest friends found funny, so Miko became the funniest squirrel in the woods! Everyone laughed at him, and he laughed with them. But the joke got old, so Miko left the woods to see if there was more to the world than missing tails and leering laughs. On his travels, he met an ostrich named "Frost!" They became fast friends, and their adventures began! They traveled a magic land, met their maker, then evolved into the addled artist and cantankerous critic known as PLUS-MINUS! What an exciting journey it has been for Miko the squirrel--and he did it all without a tail!
